7 Years Later

In 2017 Selene timidly walked to a folding table in Lupita and Betos garage and diligently did her homework at Unidos South OC’s first program. Since then she, her sister and both her parents have been involved in all areas of Unidos, from service days to summer camp.

And today I got to witness 7th grader Selene as one of six panelists (the youngest!) to share at the Visitor Day for the college-access program she participates in, Breakthrough San Juan Capistrano. She was poised, confident and clear. She wants to attend Penn or Vanderbilt and be a pediatrician.

I am so lucky to see this community member blossoming. Maybe someday our neighbors will all be clients of Dr. Barragán. ⭐️
