Our Girl Scout Troop’s First Cookie Season!

I'm happy to share that our Girl Scout troop is nearing the end of their first cookie-selling season. These past few weeks have been a journey of growth and community engagement. Our Girl Scouts started by selling cookies individually to friends, family, and even peers at school, building their confidence one sale at a time.

Together as a troop, they stationed themselves right outside Casa Unidos. There, they engaged with residents, shared smiles, and sold cookies. Their collective enthusiasm not only brought joy to our community but also drew the support of our local police officers, who couldn’t resist stopping by to contribute to their cause. This experience has been incredibly enriching for our girls, teaching them to engage with others, enhance their communication skills, manage money responsibly, and revel in the joy of building community.

I continue to be proud of their hard work and dedication. Watching them step out of their comfort zones and take on new challenges has been nothing short of inspiring.

I am excited to see them continue to grow and fill their sashes with new badges. Each badge represents not just an achievement but a valuable life lesson. The skills they are developing now will serve them for many years to come, and I can't wait to see what they accomplish next!
Thank you for your continued support of our Girl Scouts. We look forward to more community-driven events and watching our young leaders flourish.
