Troop 4432!
For the last few weeks, every Tuesday at 4 p.m., Casa Unidos transforms into a gathering place for Troop 4432. The girls walk through the doors with bright eyes and eager hearts, ready to learn and grow to become the best versions of themselves. Week by week, a deep sense of sisterhood takes root, blossoming into something truly special.
This became possible for us through a partnership with Girl Scouts of Orange County (GCOC). Although many of our neighbors are unfamiliar with Girl Scouts, GCOC offered to provide the staffing and financial support to build an initial foundation for a local neighborhood troop at Casa Unidos. It will take time for the girls and parents to understand the organization and the great pathways it can open up and begin to volunteer and lead it themselves. Until then, GSOC is standing in the gap with bilingual materials and decades of experience.
Watching these friendships form and confidence grow has been nothing short of inspiring. I feel so proud and grateful to witness this troop flourish, knowing that each meeting nurtures the next generation of strong, compassionate leaders. These girls are the future of our community, and I can’t wait to see all the ways they will shine!
